DTF

Looking for a hot peel transfer? We have you covered, with a couple of buts... Hot, warm or cold, the quality of your press can make all the difference in the world when it comes to how well a transfer peels. We don't recommend hot peeling our transfers with autopresses or any press that is less than $500 new. These presses are ok to use, they just don't typically provide the uniform temperature and pressure needed to take full advantage of our hot peel film.

Temp: 265F – 310F

Pressure: Medium to High (6-10 or 60psi - 100psi)

Time: 8 – 12 seconds

Hot Peel: Lift the press when time is finished and peel low and fast. Do not hesitate when peeling.

Warm and cold peel: Lift the press. Allow to cool as desired. Peel the film low and with consistent movement.

Following the initial peeling of the film, cover with your material of choice (parchment paper, butcher paper, t-seal, old t-shirt, etc) and press again for 6-10 seconds. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions regarding our DTF transfer process!

Care instructions:

Follow all manufacturer instructions for any garments you apply our DTF to. In addition, wash in cold water only. Tumble dry on low only. Do not iron directly over the transfer. It is also recommended to avoid any liquid fabric softeners.

UV DTF

Our UV DTF printer uses a heated roller to thoroughly
bond the carrier film with the printing film. However, caution should be taken while separating the two films to ensure the design stays adhered to the carrier film. If you have never applied a UV DTF decal, we recommend you watch a few videos as you usually only get one chance to get it right with them.

Application Instructions: (Techniques may vary)

1. Clean and dry the
application surface. Use of alcohol and a lint free cloth are recommended.

3. Peel the backing film
from the carrier. Ensure the decal adheres to the carrier.

4. Apply the decal to the
object in a manner that will avoid trapping air bubbles. Rub the decal thoroughly with your fingers (or use a roller/ squeegee) to ensure the entire
image is properly adhered to the surface.

5. Slowly start to peel the
carrier film from the surface and decal. If the image starts to lift with the film, lay it back down and rub or squeegee it again.  Repeat until entire carrier film has been removed. That's it, you are done!

UV DTF is proving to be a tough as nails alternative to traditional decals. However, it does have a major Achilles heel... UV DTF is susceptible to hot water. Avoid dishwashers and microwaves. We also recommend allowing the UV DTF transfer at least 24 hours to fully bond to the surface before washing in warm water.
